Our story.

NeoMethanol’s journey didn’t begin in a laboratory, but inside the real world of the chemical industry — in its search for economically viable paths to reach net-zero greenhouse gas emissions. It started with the vision that defossilization in the chemical industry and heavy transport can be both technically feasible and economically competitive with fossil raw materials, by unlocking the abundant carbon streams currently lost in non-recyclable waste.

From this vision, NeoMethanol was born: a company that innovatively combines industry-proven technologies to convert waste carbon streams into valuable products at competitive costs. We close the carbon loop by transforming waste wood — such as discarded furniture — into low-carbon methanol.

Together with a network of market-leading technology, research and commercialization partners, we have developed a
decentralized system of modular production units. Our story is one of industrial transformation,
proving that ecological responsibility and economic efficiency can go hand in hand to
decarbonize the chemical industry and heavy transport.

Roadmap.

Phase 1
(2026–2027)

Innovation & Technology Alliances

Finalizing process development (TRL 5–6 by 2027), securing core IP and consolidating our strategic partnership network — laying the foundation for economic efficiency, industrial-grade reliability and bankable performance.
Phase 2
(2028–2033)

Proof-of-Concept & Scale-up

Demonstrating technical performance and optimizing economic efficiency from pilot (TRL 6–7, 2028–2029) through demonstrator (TRL 7–8, 2030–2031) to first commercial-scale operation (TRL 8–9, 2032–2033).
Phase 3
(2033+)

Modular Rollout & Decentralization

Deploying our standardized NeoMe20 and NeoMe50 modular skids directly at carbon source sites — establishing a decentralized, highly efficient production network replicating proven TRL 9 technology.
Phase 4
(2038+)

Global Scale & Market Leadership

Replicating our modular infrastructure across regions — contributing to the projected fivefold growth of the global methanol market by 2050.
